Hey there! As you know, here at AD Aesthetic, we're lovers of all the pretty things.... so it probably comes as not a huge shock that we're both always on the lookout for great products. Whether that's things for the home, clothes we like, well designed products or packaging, books with amazing covers, stories, or content, or just good music. So we thought we'd start a new feature here with a round-up of a few of our favorite things, so you can check out what we're into at the moment. Without further ado:
Shop Dawn's August Favorites:

Planter I've never had what some might consider a 'green thumb', but I try. Pretty mid-century inspired planters like these would make me try even harder. Probably. Shades of Magic Book Series I just finished book one and am about a quarter of the way through book two, but I cannot put these things down! I'm not ashamed to say that, as a designer, I constantly judge books by their covers. With stunning cover art and a story that is just as captivating, these are new favs for sure! Falsa Blanket I'm kind of obsessed with blankets in general, but these super brightly colored Mexican-style falsa blankets in particular. I love the traditional patterns mixed with vibrant color options. The hardest part would really be picking which color combo I like the best. Haim Album Basically had this on repeat since it came out in July. I love the harmonies and the retro vibe of the album. So good! Copper Storage Baskets I'm still in the slow process of remodeling my bathroom, and beautiful copper storage baskets like these are calling to me. How great would they look lined up on open shelves next to my shower?? Answer: pretty great I think.

Engraved Cat Rolling Pin I haven't made sugar cookies in years, but I might if I had this adorable rolling pin engraved with cats! Even if the cookies never get made, this textured rolling pin is pretty enough to put on display and fool people into thinking I'm a baker ;) Black Sweeper Funnel This is the most beautifully designed dust pan I have ever seen! I want two. One to admire and one to actually use for it's intended purpose. Bolt Wireless Fitness Earbuds in Rose Gold When I'm trying to buckle down and get work done, I tend to get distracted pretty easily by conversations happening around me. These pretty little headphones are wire-free and sit comfortably in-ear blocking sound wonderfully. The perfect accessory to help me focus. Novogratz Bushwick Queen Metal Platform Bed The truth is, my guest room is pretty sad right now; it's basically become a giant storage closet that also houses a litter box — not exactly welcoming. This inexpensive metal frame is a perfect blend of classic and modern, and might just be the kick-start I need to get this room under control again. House Industries: The Process is the Inspiration Book Just wow! This book provides a glimpse behind-the-scenes of graphic design powerhouse, House Industries, and it is packed full of visual inspiration. Made using 4 different paper stocks, metallic inks and sport varnishes, this book is a tactile experience that I can't wait to get my hands on!So those are some of our current favs...
